U-Explore

U-Explore is an online multimedia solution, purchased by the school, which is designed to excite and stimulate students into thinking about their career options. The dynamic engaging content focuses on the leading growth sectors within the local area of South Yorkshire, what opportunities are available in a particular sector and what qualifications and skills students need to get a job in that sector.

Students can access u-explore from any computer which has a good broadband connection. It can be used at school or at home.

To register to use the service go to u-explore.com/sheffield and click the REGISTER button at the bottom of the page.

enter personal details in the About You section
select Silverdale School from the About You section
enter Year and Class Details
enter b0996 in school code field (case sensitive) and click continue
in the username and password fields type in exactly the same username/number and password used to access the school computer network
click register me - you are now ready to use U-Explore
log-in using username and password

The program is very easy to use - just browse around and look at all the different options.
