Weekly Bulletin

(a) Congratulations : : To Chloe Birch who received a ‘Special Award’ from the Sheffield Schools Sports Federation for her achievements in badminton. Chloe is the National Champion in singles, doubles and mixed badminton. Superb achievement.

(b) Netball : An extra match has been arranged for a Y7 & Y9 netball team against King Edwards on Wednesday. Please look at the noticeboard for details.

(c) Library Loans : I need all loans back from Y7 – Y11. Deadline 1st December. Please return them.

(d) Scholastic Book Fair : All new books. All bargains – stationery too! In the Library from 4th – 10th December. All welcome – Christmas present opportunities.

(e) Notice for Y12 & Y13 Students : We have food GCSE coursework from last year and the year before. If they have not been collected by this Friday 5th December, we will have to throw them away.

(f) Netball – Year 10 : There is no practice on Wednesday 3rd December due to a tournament on this day.

(g) Sports Leaders – Year 12 : All the students are involved in a primary school basketball event on Tuesday 2nd December and will need to leave school at 3.10 pm.

Gum Ban : All years groups have had assemblies pointing out that gum will be banned on the new school premises. We will have a lovely new environment to work and learn in, it is very important that we do everything we can to keep it in the best condition possible. That is why we urge everyone to help, and why a ban on gum is essential.
